First plant serving Doha's West Bay district — 35,000 TR of chillers plus 5,000 TR from thermal storage.
West Bay is Doha's central business district. In joint venture with Al Jaber Engineering, ADC delivered Qatar Cool's West Bay District Cooling Plant 3 turnkey — 35,000 TR of chiller capacity with an 11,000 m³ thermal energy storage tank adding 5,000 TR at peak, for 40,000 TR of plant capacity.
The 24-month EPC programme was followed by ADC operating the plant, and by the West Bay RO plant supplying its cooling towers with desalinated water.
