Najmat Development is a growing urban district on Reem Island. ADC was awarded the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of District Cooling Plant DCP-01 — a modern facility designed to integrate sustainable infrastructure into the development with energy efficiency, scalability and environmental responsibility at its core.
The plant includes two 9,500 m³ thermal energy storage tanks standing 43.5 m tall and a 22 kV intake distributing 33.25 MW — the electrical, civil and process scope all delivered by ADC's in-house teams.
