Plant, network and energy transfer stations for Saudi Arabia's flagship heritage development — delivered turnkey in 24 months.
Diriyah Gate is one of the Kingdom's giga-projects — a mixed-use heritage destination on the edge of Riyadh. ADC delivered the district cooling plant together with the chilled-water network and the energy transfer stations that hand cooling over to each development parcel.
A connected load of 72,500 TR was delivered in 24 months, backed by three thermal energy storage tanks totalling 9,600 TR that shift cooling production away from peak power hours. The plant was modelled to LOD 400 in BIM before construction — plant, network and ETS coordinated clash-free at design stage.
