Cooling for the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre district — hotels, offices and conference halls — delivered turnkey in two stages.
The ADNEC district cooling plant serves the exhibition centre and the surrounding hotels, office buildings and conference facilities. ADC delivered the plant turnkey for PAL Cooling Holding in two stages: 20,000 TR of series-counterflow chiller modules and a 5,000 TR thermal energy storage tank, for 25,000 TR of plant capacity.
The scope included an external chilled-water main header of over 1 km of pre-insulated pipes tying the plant into the district network.
