Project Scope / Highlights

ADC has been awarded a the Construction, Completion, Testing & Commissioning contract to build 49,600 TR District Cooling Plant at Jumeirah Village Circle JVC. The plant will utilize six chiller modules and two TES tanks to produce the designed capacity. The building will be LEED gold ceritified.

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation – EMPOWER was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Tecom Investments with an objective to enable real estate industry to efficienctly utilize energy resources by providing world class District Cooling Services (DCS).

From a modest begining in 2004 with a single temporary plant serving DIFC EMPOWER has grown exponentially and is currently the larget District Cooling services Provider in the Workd serving more than 1.34 million refrigeration tons of cooling through plantrooms and networks spread all over the Emirates of Dubai.
